About

What NFL Terminal is — and what it isn't

Overview

NFL Terminal is an independent, terminal-style analytics platform for professional football. It turns publicly available play-by-play and box-score data into team and player projections, season simulations, playoff and Super Bowl odds, and model-vs-market comparisons — presented in a fast, dense, keyboard-friendly interface.

What you'll find here

  • Per-player and per-team statistical projections with prediction intervals.
  • Monte Carlo season simulations — projected wins, division, playoff, and championship odds.
  • Team and player pages with historical performance and efficiency metrics.
  • Model-accuracy reporting: how our projections have held up out of sample and against the market.

How projections are made

Projections are statistical estimates produced by machine-learning models trained on historical data. They are inherently uncertain, can be wrong, and are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. Nothing on this site is betting advice or a guarantee of any outcome.

Independence

NFL Terminal is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League or any of its teams. All team names, logos, and related marks are the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification and informational purposes only.
